Why I Started Lineage By Laura
Genealogy has always felt like more than names, dates, and records to me.
What began as an interest in family history grew into a passion for understanding people, preserving stories, and answering questions that sometimes span generations.
Over time, I discovered genealogy is not simply about building a family tree—it is about connecting evidence, understanding identity, and helping people make sense of the stories that shaped their families.
Some projects begin with curiosity.
Some begin with a photograph, a family story, or a long-standing question.
Others begin with something deeper—an adoption, an unexpected DNA result, a missing branch of the family, or a desire to preserve memories before they are lost.
